How does FreshPaper work?

FreshPaper is infused with organic spices that inhibit bacterial and fungal growth as well as enzymes that cause over-ripening. There is no zeolite, no sodium permanganate, no charcoal and absolutely no plastic present.

How do you use FreshPaper?

Simply place one small sheet into an open fridge drawer, carton, bag or container filled with produce. It is not intended for use in air-tight containers or in water.

How long does produce last for?

The average shelf-life of fruit and vegetables at room temperature is 1 to 2 days. By using FreshPaper, you can extend the life of your fresh produce by 4 to 5 days at room temperature and 5 to 7 days if refrigerated. You don’t have to wrap items individually, but if you are storing lots of very perishable items, simply toss in an extra sheet.

How long do the sheets last for?

Once in use, the sheets stay active for up to a month, or until their naturally delicious sweet and spicy scent fades. The sheets can last up to two years in its original packaging, so be sure to keep the packet closed at all times.

What kinds of produce does FreshPaper work with?

FreshPaper works with most fruit, vegetables and fresh herbs – from berries to leafy greens to delicate herbs!

Will FreshPaper save my produce that has started to spoil?

Because FreshPaper does not contain any harsh chemicals, it will not be able save produce that’s already begun to go bad so just make sure you use FreshPaper as soon as you unpack your fruit and veg.

For RRP $14.95, how many sheets are in a packet?

The packet includes eight sheets of FreshPaper. This is approximately a two-month supply.

I have a lot of expenses already, why should I invest in FreshPaper?

Are different sizes available?

Currently FreshPaper is only available in one size. Dimensions are 14.5cm x 11.5cm, more than enough for the average fridge crisper draw or fruit bowl.

What is the smell?

A sweet and spicy note that is built on the fenugreek spice, helichrysum and on pyrazines, giving a toasted caramelic and savory note all at once. Fenugreek, one of the active ingredients in FreshPaper, is also used in maple syrup flavouring!

Is it safe?

Yes absolutely! FreshPaper is a safe and effective organic solution to food spoilage. In addition to smelling delicious, these extracts are naturally anti- microbial.

Is it 100% natural?

Yes definitely! Only natural and organic ingredients are used.

Is it good for the earth?

Yes, is it. Not only is it easy to use, FreshPaper is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.

Will it make my food taste different because of the fragrance?

No, the fragrance does not affect the flavour of the food.

What if I have any food allergies?

FreshPaper does not contain cereals containing Gluten (namely wheat, rye, barley, oats and spelt and their hybridised strains), crustacean, egg, fish, milk, peanuts, soybeans, sesame seeds and tree nuts, other than coconut. Although the product is manufactured and processed in facilities that might also process the above mentioned allergens, there is no measurable transfer of FreshPaper ingredients when in contact with fresh produce.
